My daughter Sabria and I have a conversation almost weekly about what real love looks like, and we both agree — nobody in our lives embodies that more than my husband, Phillip. Lots of people think that love speaks. But I believe that love isn’t always the loudest person in the room. Love is best found in action.
So to all the sweet girls who are uncertain if it’s really love, and if he really loves you — remember this. Love is found in the still, quiet consistency of a man who chooses to protect your heart. Who loves you in both joy and in the hardest of times. Love is patient and faithful and consistent. It doesn’t waver with the weather or the wind. Basically, you won’t ever have to doubt true love. You will be CERTAIN.
Grateful that both of my girls get to experience this first hand in the man that loves us all.
I believe love is different for everyone, yet, has one thing in common. It “Speaks” in our ‘Actions and Deeds.’ The old saying—-Love is what it does is Spot On. Hold it dear to your hearts and never let go.
