When you have two kids under 2 years old, there are definitely shopping tips that will help make your life easier. My youngest kids are 1, 2, and 4 years old. And as a mom who has had two kids under 2 TWICE, I’m all about finding mom hacks. I hope these tips that I have learned from shopping at Publix will help other moms with two under 2!
Choose a kid-friendly grocery store
I prefer to do my grocery shopping without my crew of small kids, but if I have to shop with them I prefer to visit a kid-friendly store. I love shopping at Publix because it was designed with moms in mind!
My kids love the shopping carts designed like race cars. They love saying hello to the sweet employees that staff our local Publix. But nothing is more fun to them than grabbing a cookie from the bakery. Yes, kids get a free cookie from the Publix bakery every shopping trip! We head to grab cookies and I can quickly zip through the store to grab my items and be almost finished by the time the cookies are done! Happy kids equal happy mom which equals easy shopping!
Shop Publix sales for baby items
I am constantly looking for great deals on baby items. Publix always has amazing sales for moms who need baby and toddler products. The Baby Care Sale at Publix is starting now so you can find savings on select baby products from April 10 through April 23! You can find details of the available deals in the 4/10 Extra Savings flyer which will include the “Baby Care Sale” offers, usually located in the kiosk at the store’s entrance. If you can’t find it there, ask the customer service desk for a flyer.
Diapers are a huge expense…SAVE where you can!
When you have two kids under 2, diapers can be a huge part of your monthly budget. The Baby Care Sale at Publix offers great deals on Huggies diapers! During the sale, you get $2 off any 1 Huggies Diaper 16–124-ct. It’s an awesome way to stock up on diapers at a great price.
One of my favorite tips is to buy big packs of diapers versus small. Larger counts are often cheaper per diaper than smaller packs. This tip is especially helpful if your kids are similar sized and can wear the same size!
Stock up on convenient, portable meals and snacks
When you have two kids under 2, it helps to have convenient meals and snacks that are easy to grab and go. I love cooking from scratch for my family, but sometimes quick options are awesome sanity saver!
