AHHHH! We are so excited, and honestly still a little in awe, to announce that we are pregnant with Baby #4!!! Y’all our family has grown SO FAST in the last 3 years – sometimes I can’t even believe it! We are grateful to God to be able to raise our kids and dedicate them back to Him. Phillip and I truly consider our kids to be gifts from God, and I’m overwhelmed all the time at how blessed we really are to get to be their parents.
If you’ve been following us at all on social media, you know that we recently returned from a 2 – week trip to Walt Disney World. We wanted do something fun for our Disney baby announcement and thought, how cool would it be to do it at Disney Hollywood Studios in its newest land, Galaxy’s Edge? And it was literally one of the most fun things we have ever experienced!
The Disney Photopass photographer was super into it and posed us a few different ways and after the pictures the line of people after us waiting to get their picture broke into applause – so sweet and something I will never forget!!
Pregnancy Stats:
Baby is due March 2020. MARCH?? Crazy. That feels like tomorrow!
How Far Along?
17 Weeks. CRAZY, I know! We can find out the gender next week! I’m with the same awesome doctor who delivered both Judah and Joshua which has been great J. She knows me, I know her, and it just…works lol.
How am I feeling physically?
Pretty good! I am super blessed to have had easy pregnancies with all of my kiddos. No morning sickness or much nausea, so other than the usual tiredness that comes with having toddler boys running around all day, I’m doing great. I have been known to catch an afternoon nap (or two) but I can’t complain. And honestly – there’s hope in that we are almost halfway there! That gives me lots of energy to stuff in as much as I can before go time!
Planned or unplanned?
Define…planned? Haha! If you wanna hear more about how I think God feels about our plans — Read This.
Feeling different than any of the other pregnancies?
This pregnancy honestly feels identical to to my pregnancies with BOTH boys, down to the weight gain and the delayed showing. Makes me wonder…
Looking preggo?
Honestly, not unless you’ve seen me naked! Which you haven’t lol! There are people who are reading this right now that see me at least once a week that are probably mindblown. I also carry my kiddos posterior (which makes for some funky sleep right off the bat) for a while so they definitely hide for a while before my belly pops.
The only person who may have guessed anything at all is my sister. She swears she thought my face looked a little fuller back in pictures from her graduation back in August – and I believe her because those are the kind of details that only she notices lol. Phillip and I have noticed in the last week or so that my stomach is starting to pop more but it’s really only visible if I want it to be.
Nauseous?
Not really. Every once in a while, a certain smell will drive me nuts. I can’t deal with any type of wall plug-ins and candles are hit or miss. So basically I’m good unless hit with a really artificial smell (and those aren’t the best for you anyway!)
What’s coming next?
We have our anatomy scan next week! And we are not 100% yet if we are going to find out the gender ahead of time. I guess we should hurry up and figure that out lol! Quick backstory on our gender reveals: with Judah (baby #3) I was dead set on not finding out, but Phillip really, REALLY wanted to know. So he found out at the anatomy scan (and if you know Phillip, he would NEVER have told me even if I begged lol.) The ultrasound tech was really sweet, and gave him a picture to keep. I ALMOST told her to take it back so that there was no way that I would find out until the baby was born, but I try not to tell people how to do their job so I didn’t lol.
Months later, somehow that same ultrasound picture ended up in the middle of the floor, folded. I was cleaning and picked it up thinking it was a random sheet of paper and nope! It was the gender of our baby. I was so sad/excited/annoyed/happy and Phillip felt really bad haha. So THIS time it’s gotta be all or nothing!! We will either both find out or neither of us will. I’ll definitely keep y’all posted!
We are very excited to share this journey with you guys! I have a lot of fun pregnancy content planned and a few collaborations in the works. I also can’t wait to share more about our Disney Vacation extravaganza and my tips with traveling to see The Mouse with toddlers and also while pregnant.
Fun fact, I’ve actually been to Walt Disney World pregnant twice! Once while pregnant with Joshua and again while pregnant with this baby. And both times were in the blazing heat! So even though I’m not an expert, I think I have a bunch of insight on things you can do to make your trips more enjoyable for you and your baby!
